
May 9 – the Day of Memory and Honors, initiated by President Islam Karimov, is being celebrated in our country as a nationwide holiday.

An exhibition of traditional costumes, organized by the Fund “Forum of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan” jointly with the Association of Antiques of Uzbekistan “Meros” was opened at the Youth Creativity Palace under the project “Tiklanish”.
A project on construction of Ustyurt Gas Chemical Complex on the base of Surgil field was included into top ten global investment projects of the world in 2012 according to the rating published by the authoritative consulting company Dealogic (Great Britain).
